Using GB WhatsApp (Non-Root Method)
This is one of the simplest methods for using multiple WhatsApp accounts without rooting your mobile phone. In this method, you have to download the latest GB WhatsApp app from the below link and install the app in your mobile. Later a simple authentication of account will resolve the issue. Please follow the following steps to set up the GB Whatsapp application in mobile.

- Please verify whether you have enabled Unknown sources installation in your mobile or not. If not please go to Settings in you mobile then go toSecurity tab and enable Unknown sources under Device Administration.Please find the screenshot for the same below.
- Now click on the downloaded Apk file from your mobile and finish the installation.
- After installing the application it will ask for your mobile number, here give your second WhatsApp account which you want to use as additional in your mobile.
- Enter the verification code and finish the setup.
- Now you will have two WhatsApp accounts in your mobile one is Official from Play Store and another one is GB WhatsApp.
Using 2 Lines for WhatsApp App (Root Method)
Another commonly used method is using 2Lines for WhatsApp App. Using 2Lines App, you can add more than two accounts in you mobile but rooting your mobile is required for this method.
- Download and install the application from Play Store. Click here to download
- Please verify and enable the Unknown Sources installation in mobile as mentioned in the previous method.
- After installing the app, it will ask root access in your mobile. Just grant the permission and proceed.
- Then it will display your current WhatsApp account number in the list, there click on + button to add multiple WhatsApp account number.
- Please finish the Authentication process by verifying the mobile number.
- Later successful adding you can switch between the accounts using the App.

Method 1. The upgrade method
Flashing full MIUI ROM pack on the phone (This part applies to all the xiaomi phone models.). Download necessary files to prepare for flashing MIUI ROM
Note: Flashing a newer version of MIUI ROM doesn’t need to wipe data, but flashing an older one does.
STEP 1
Download the multilingual MIUIROM. If you have downloaded the latest installation pack, there is no need to download it again.
STEP 2
Connect your phone to the computer, and put the ROM file to the folder downloaded_rom in the SD card. Open Updater on the launcher, press the Menubutton – Select installation file. STEP 3

Method 2. Updating zip file in Recovery
Please make sure that your phone has enough power.
STEP 1:
Download the multilingual MIUI ROM. Operate on the computer, rename the zip file as update.zip, and copy it to the root directory of the SD card. The update.zip copied from SD card to internal storage
STEP 2:
Enter Updater, press the Menu button, and select Reboot to recovery mode. Another way to enter recovery mode: turn off the phone, press the Volume+ key and the Power button at the same time, wait until the screen wakes.
